Registration
Reristration allows you to look back at past race results as well as receive e-mail announcing races and informing you of scored races.
The implied rating system means you may not need to sail much more then 5 - 10 races. Depending on how good you are and or the progression you make, you may need more races to ensure your rating is an accurate reflection of your skills. It does not pay to accumulate an unlimited amount of results as your rating changes only in relation to your skill in competing with others.
To register you have to sign up in the race center and join the Bavaria League event.

# 1. make BACKUP
Copy the "Bavaria 36" directory from the Sail Simulator directory "..../Stentec/Sim5/Sail Simulator 5/boats/Bavaria 36"
to a safe place as a backup!!
# 2. install new Bavaria 36 skins
Copy all *_Hull_* , *_Sails_* , *_Spinnaker_* files from the unpacked Bavaria League 2011 - 2012 directory to the "3DObjects" directory in the boat model directory in the
boats directory.
Copy the Preview.dds to the "Images" directory directory in the boat model directory in the
boats directory.
Example for Windows XP
Presuming Sail Simulator was installed on the C:/ volume in the default "program files" directory
copy all *_Hull_* , *_Sails_* and *_Spinnaker_* files from the Bavaria League 2011 -2012 directory to
C:/program files/Stentec/Sim5/Sail Simulator 5/boats/Bavaria 36/3DObjects
copy the file "Preview.dds" to
C:/program files/Stentec/Sim5/Sail Simulator 5/boats/Bavaria 36/Images
# 3 sail away
When Sail Simulator is running, you have to go back to load the new skin. Reload the race (join session).
You should now have a brand new bavaria 36 with transparant tri radial spinnaker, a beautiful teak deck and Bavaria League sticker to confirm you are a competitor.
As soon as we find out how to get to the refridgerator we will let you know.
